Off Road Vehicle Sports
Off-road vehicle (ORV) enthusiasts have many opportunities to ride in selected areas of the Flathead Watershed. Snowmobilers and other ORV users can enjoy riding the land throughout the seasons, and in areas offering a variety of rider skill levels. Trail maps showing legally designated routes are available from state and local clubs, Flathead National Forest Service offices, and riders’ associations. Montana residents must register their ORVs and snowmobiles in the county where the owner resides. For more information and maps:

Off road biking and ORV use can be damaging. All off road recreationists should proceed with respect for the land, water and wildlife and comply with all regulations.
